| Why protect your name? | |
If you trade, or are likely to trade in more than one country, it is good practice to protect your domain name in the specified country, just as you would protect your trademark. This can be done for a relatively small fee and will provide you with a "virtual presence" in that country. |
| Country restrictions | |
Knowall can register any domain world-wide on your behalf, although there are number of criteria to be met by the registrant in the following countries: Spain, France, Germany, Holland and UK (for a limited number of domains e.g. ltd.uk) In all other countries domains are available to anyone from any country. This enables business's to protect their brand name, and also use suffix's in a clever way, either as a memorable name, or as part as their company slogan: register.it, why-say.no, going.to, etc.
